Rockstar Dreamer: For Those Who Love The Stage

If you have always dreamed of being on stage with your own band, Rockstar Dreamer is the game for you. Much like the popular games that have been released for console systems, this is a game that allows you to play along with the music, being a part of the band. You have to push the keys in the right sequence. When you do, wild cheering will follow you to the next level. When you make a mistake, though, your dreams will crumble and you will be forced to leave the stage. When this happens, however, you can always play again. 

The Setup
If is very easy to get this game going. You just have to start by choosing the style of controls that you want to use. The basic style allows you to use the keys A, S, D, K, and L. They correspond to the strings on your guitar, and you can push them when you need to play a note that is on that string. The advanced controls are more difficult, allowing you to select your string and then to push enter if you want to strum it. With that selected, you need to choose whether you want to set the game on Easy, Normal, or Hard. The only thing left after that is to choose the music that you want to play. 

Playing The Game
When the game begins, you will hear the music start. You will have a moment to get ready and to find the beat, and then the notes will start coming down the screen toward you. They will all have different colors, and they will be set up in the same order as the keys that you are pushing down. If there is a line after the note, that means that you need to hit the button at the right time and hold it down. If there is no line, you just have to hit the key on the beat. 

The Music Changes
As you play, the music reflects what you do. The main beat and the background music stay the same, but your guitar plays the notes when you play them. If you are doing well, it will sound flawless and smooth. If you start making mistakes, the music will get progressively worse. When you do a very poor job, the music will quite entirely as the band gives up on you.
